The University of Kentucky Police issued a public safety notice regarding a "suspicious incident" on campus Tuesday afternoon.

A witness told police she saw two men approach a woman outside Smith Hall at 2:15 p.m.

One of the men grabbed the woman's shoulder, and the woman turned and kicked him, prompting the men to run toward the Johnson Recreational Center.

Police said they do not know the identity of the woman involved.

The men were both white, 40 to 50 years old, about six feet tall and of average build.

The man who grabbed the woman had long gray hair and was wearing a black hat and a long green trench coat. The other man wore a black jacket. Both carried black shoulder bags.
