A Lexington man was arrested Friday on child pornography charges, Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway announced Monday.

Erik Hentzen, 25, is charged with two counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, according to a news release.

In November 2012, Conway's cyber-crimes investigators became aware of an unknown person accessing an unsecured wireless connection in Lexington and tracked the connection to Hentzen's home in Lexington, the news release said.

Investigators found child pornography during a search at Hentzen's home, the release said.

Hentzen was released from the Fayette County Detention Center after posting a $5,000 cash bond, the news release said. An arraignment is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday in Fayette District Court.

The investigation is continuing, and additional charges are likely, according to the news release.
