Trio from girls' state champs named Kentucky All-Stars

Marion County's Makayla Epps drove past Notre Dame's Haylee Smith. Epps had 16 points, six rebounds and five assists for the Knights.

Miss Basketball Makayla Epps and two of her Marion County state championship teammates — Kyvin Goodin-Rogers and Logan Powell – are among the 12 players who make up the Kentucky All-Stars’ squad that will play Indiana in June.

Epps and Goodin-Rogers have signed to play at the University of Kentucky.

Larryn Brooks and Ashton Feldhaus of Madison Central, along with Becca Greenwell of Owensboro Catholic, are also on the team, which will be coached by Chris Souder of Mercer County.

Kentucky will play Indiana on June 14 in Louisville’s Freedom Hall and June 15 in Indianapolis’ Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
