Author Neil Gaiman to sign his latest book in Lexington

Bestselling author Neil Gaiman will appear at a Joseph-Beth Booksellers event on July 11 in downtown Lexington.

Gaiman will sign his book The Ocean at the End of the Lane at the Grand Reserve events center, 903 Manchester Street. A ticket is available with the purchase of a book, which is $30 for regular customers and $27 for members of Joseph-Beth's customer loyalty program.

Publisher's Weekly called Gaiman's new book a "subtle and splendid modern myth."

Gaiman is an English author of short fiction, novels, comic books, graphic novels, audio theater and films. He is the winner of Newbery and Carnegie Medals. Gaiman's other books include American Gods, Coraline and The Graveyard Book.
