Pioneer Playhouse presents comedy benefit for late director

May show featuring Jim Wiggins will benefit cancer charity

Holly Henson was a stand-up comic when she wasn't serving as director of Pioneer Playhouse in Danville.

Holly Henson was known in Central Kentucky as the artistic director of the Pioneer Playhouse, but she was also an active and accomplished comedian. The Playhouse will present a comedy benefit starring Jim Wiggins and Bob Batch in Henson’s honor at 8 p.m. May 11 at the theater’s indoor stage.
