Keeneland will again offer drive-through wagering on the Kentucky Oaks and Derby at the Kentucky Horse Park on Ironworks Pike and the Thoroughbred Center on Paris Pike. The Kentucky Horse Racing Commission approved the betting Tuesday.

Rogers Beasley of Keeneland said that last year's debut was a success and that the track hopes to build a following for the sites. The Oaks is May 3 and the Derby is May 4 at Churchill Downs in Louisville.

The racing commission also gave approval to Kentucky Downs in Franklin to add 40 more instant racing terminals and add four new games: Treasure of Egypt, Bayou Bash, Very Cherry and Pigs in Mud 2.

Instant racing revenue for March topped $30.5 million for Kentucky Downs and Ellis Park in Henderson. The games generated almost $500,000 for the state, including almost $107,000 for the General Fund.

According to the racing commission, which now tracks betting through advance-deposit wagering sites, Kentuckians bet $142.7 million via ADWs in 2012. TwinSpires.com was the largest betting site, with $63.8 million bet.
