Anglers from Lafayette and Woodford County were among the 13 boats to qualify for the first KHSAA state bass fishing tournament to be held April 26-27 at Kentucky Lake.

Nathan Taylor and Terry Hager of Woodford County finished 10th in the Region 2 Tournament at Taylorsville Lake on Sunday. Riley Cobb and Ben Marshall of Lafayette placed 11th.

Luke Miller and David Ryan Brewer of St. Xavier won the regional with 10 pounds, 1 ounce of fish caught.
