Children's Advocacy Center gets new home

April 17, 2013

The Children's Advocacy Center, which provides services for sexually abused children and their families, recently moved to new digs at 162 North Ashland Avenue in the space previously occupied by the Lexington Hearing and Speech Center.

The new building offers nearly twice as much space as its previous location, and has undergone a $750,000 renovation that includes adding multiple waiting rooms, expanded space for therapy and community education, and a revamped clinic.

The building's interior was designed with a soothing color palette and touches of whimsy, such as pinwheel-inspired artwork and exposed pipes painted a bright purple.

For more information, contact the center at or (859) 225-5437.
