Three Kentucky basketball signees, one UK commitment and the Cats' biggest recruiting target will all be in action Saturday night in the Nike Hoop Summit.
Julius Randle, Andrew Harrison and Aaron Harrison — the three highest-rated players in UK's No. 1-ranked recruiting class — will lead Team USA against the World Select Team, which includes UK commitment Karl Towns and No. 1 high school prospect Andrew Wiggins.
The game will be played in Portland, Ore., and televised live at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
Randle, who was officially announced as a UK signee Thursday, was one of the co-most valuable players of last weekend's Jordan Brand Classic. The 10-player Team USA roster includes seven of the top eight seniors in the country, according to Scout.com.
The No. 1 player in the nation, Wiggins, was the leading scorer for the winning World team in year's Nike Hoop Summit and returns Saturday for another appearance in the game. Wiggins will choose between UK, North Carolina, Florida State and Kansas sometime in the next few weeks.
Towns recently wrapped up his junior season at St. Joseph High School in Metuchen, N.J. The 7-footer is UK's only commitment from the class of 2014.
