An employee of the Lexington Movie Tavern pleaded not guilty Monday to a charge that she set fire to the theater manager's office earlier this month.

Stephanie Renee Robinson, 34, told police she used a napkin to set a fire near "some electrical components" underneath a Formica countertop on April 12, according to a uniform citation by the Lexington Fire Investigation Bureau.

The fire caused more than $50,000 damage, according to the citation filed in Fayette District Court.

Movie-goers and co-workers were in the theater at the time, the citation said.

Robinson was arrested Sunday on a charge of first-degree arson. She was being held in the Fayette County Detention Center.

Her next court appearance is scheduled for May 2.
