Finalists announced for presidency of Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College

The Kentucky Community and Technical College System has released the names of three finalists for the president's job at Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College, based in Cumberland.

The candidates are:

■ Vic Adams, vice president/chief workforce solutions officer, Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College.

■ Ty Handy, president of Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Fla.

■ F. Lynn Moore, vice president for administrative services and student development at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Ore.

On-campus visits and interviews with the candidates are scheduled for May 7 and 8 and May 14 and 15. During those visits, candidates will meet with Southeast faculty, staff and students. The candidates also will have an opportunity to meet with community leaders serving on the Southeast board of directors.

SKCTC President Bruce Ayers will retire June 30 after leading the college for 26 years.
