LEXINGTON HERALD-LEADER

A resident of a Harrison County nursing home was charged Thursday with four counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, Kentucky State Police said.

Thomas A. Donlon, 69, was arrested after an investigation that began in Lexington when a landlord found what appeared to be photographs of child pornography, said Trooper David Jones of the Dry Ridge post.

Donlon was evicted some time ago from a residence in Lexington. The property owner who was cleaning the residence after Donlon moved out found the photos and contacted Lexington police, Jones said.

Lexington police enlisted state police to help when investigators learned Donlon had moved out of the county.

Donlon lived at a Harrison County nursing home following his eviction, but Jones would not identify the home.

Donlon was lodged in the Bourbon County Detention Center in Paris. The case remains under investigation by state police.
