PBI Bank: Scott McCauley has been named Lexington market president.

Law

Thompson Miller & Simpson: Brandon M. Howell has joined the firm as an associate. Howell received his B.A. from Transylvania University and his J.D. in 2007 from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law. He served on the Moot Court Board and was a member of the Inns of Court. Howell will practice in the fields of medical malpractice and products liability defense litigation.

Organizations

Fayette County Bar Association: Palmer Gene Vance II, an attorney with Stoll Keenon Ogden, has been named the association's 88th president. His one-year term began May 1. Vance has been a member of the FCBA board of directors since 2009. He joined SKO in 1995 and is a member of the Business Litigation practice and Tort, Trial and Insurance Services practice.
