Personnel File local hires and promotions: Week of May 13

Education

University of Kentucky: Jill Stowe has been named director of UK's Ag Equine Programs and Dickinson Professor of Equine Science and Management.

Finance

Community Trust Bancorp: Kevin J. Stumbo has been promoted to chief financial officer. In addition, Stumbo serves as executive vice president and treasurer of Community Trust Bancorp, executive vice president of Community Trust Bank, and vice president of Community Trust and Investment Co.

Kentucky Bank: Clark Nyberg, recently retired as the director of Wealth Management for Kentucky Bank, will remain with the bank and has been named director of portfolio management for the Trust Department.

Owingsville Banking Co.: Lexington resident Carson F. Richards has been named the bank's fifth president. Richards has served on the bank's board of directors for seven years.

PNC: Marnie Daniels has joined the Lexington PNC Wealth Management department as assistant vice president and relationship manager.

Organizations

Kentucky Distillers' Association: Brittany Allison has been named the association's first-ever bourbon ambassador. Mandy Ryan has been named homeplace coordinator, overseeing the daily operations of the KDA office in Frankfort and providing marketing and public relations support.

Kentucky U.S. Green Building Council: Louisville native Nancy Church has been named executive director.

Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board: Rear Admiral William V. Alford Jr., retired U.S. Navy, and James D. Coles, executive vice president of Community Ventures Corp., have been named to serve four-year terms, replacing outgoing board members Les Kimbrough and Porter G. Peeples.

Kentucky Health Cooperative: The following have been named to the leadership team of the member-governed nonprofit health insurance issuer: Janie Miller, chief executive officer; Len Sherman, chief financial officer and vice president, finance; Steve Lariviere, vice president, government relations; compliance officer; Fred Nelson, vice president, provider services; Rick Schultz, vice president, clinical care; Lorna Jones, vice president, operations and IT; Jack Tillman, vice president, member and group services.

Turf Town Properties: Newton Taluskie has joined the company's sales team.

Audio Authority: Tony Ferrero has been named sales manager for the manufacturer of AV switching, distribution, conversion and intercom products.

Space Tango: Lee T. Todd Jr., former UK president and entrepreneur, has joined Space Tango, a business accelerator for space enterprises and entrepreneurs, as a mentor and adviser.
