Kentucky's men's basketball game against Baylor at Cowboys Stadium on Dec. 6 will count as part of the inaugural Big 12/SEC Challenge, the league and ESPN announced Tuesday.
All 10 of the Big 12's teams and 10 of the SEC's 14 will participate in the annual event, which will be referred to as the SEC/Big 12 Challenge in alternating years. Arkansas, Georgia, LSU and Tennessee will not play in the first year.
ESPN will provide exclusive coverage of all 10 games across it networks.
Here is the schedule (times and networks to be determined later):
Nov. 14: Texas Tech at Alabama
Dec. 2: Vanderbilt at Texas, Auburn at Iowa State
Dec. 5: Mississippi at Kansas State, West Virginia at Missouri, Texas Christian at Mississippi State
Dec. 6: Kentucky vs. Baylor (at Arlington, Texas), South Carolina at Oklahoma State
Dec. 10: Kansas at Florida
Dec. 21: Texas A&M vs. Oklahoma (at Houston)
