This is the 3rd in a 4 part series on "the mates of marriage." First we looked at the cell-mate marriage, the worst one to be in. Then we looked at the roommate marriage, the most common one. Today we are looking at the life-mate marriage.

This is a step up from the roommate marriage in that these folks really like and love each other. They enjoy each other's company most of the time. The only thing really missing is the passion.

The good news is that passion can be revived in a life-mate marriage.

Here are two ways to do it:

1. Make a list of all the things that first attracted you to each other. Keep that list with you and read it often. If you want to be really bold, share it with your partner.

2. Plan romantic outings - small things like dinner, and big things like romantic trips. I think you will like the results.
