INGLEWOOD, Calif. — Warren's Veneda won the $54,250 feature for California bred or sired females by a neck Thursday at Betfair Hollywood Park.
Ridden by Tyler Baze, Warren's Veneda ran 1 1/16 miles on the turf in 1:43.52 and paid $13.80, $5.20 and $2.60 less than three weeks after earning her first victory in the Alphabet Kisses Stakes.
Akiss Forarose returned $4.60 and $2.60, while Warren's Flasher was another nose back in third and paid $2.10 as the 3-5 favorite. Warren's Veneda and Warren's Flasher are both owned and bred by Benjamin C. Warren.
Warren's Veneda increased her career earnings to $69,520.
