Amber Alert for Ga. toddler cancelled; the child is safe

Police have cancelled the Amber Alert issued Friday for a Georgia toddler who allegedly was abducted by her father.

According to Georgia police, Sorelle Torrez, 2, was abducted by her father, Zebediah Lockette, 31, in Sandy Springs, Ga. Friday afternoon. The child was found safe Memphis, Ark. Lockette was arrested, according to a posting on AmberAlert.com.

Authorities in Kentucky were alerted because Georgia police thought the pair could be travelling through Kentucky to get to family in Michigan.
