Funeral arrangements are set for Estill County teen who died in a tragic accident Friday.

Estill County investigators said Tony Conley, 16, was on a deck at an Estill County house and was joking around when he put a dog lead around his neck; he apparently tripped near the stairs and fell, causing his death. Conley, an Estill County High School football player, was with friends at the time. Friday was the last day of school.

"It's a tragic accident," said Coroner Tony Murphy. "We believe that he tripped or just fell."

Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Estill County High School auditorium and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the high school football field. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the football field.

Lewis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
