Blaylock's attorney: Medical emergency caused fatal car crash

The attorney of former NBA star Mookie Blaylock says a medical emergency caused the head-on-crash that killed a woman in an Atlanta suburb on Friday.

Don Samuel, who helped former NFL player Ray Lewis avoid murder charges in 2000, says Blaylock, 46, had a blackout at the wheel when his sport-utility vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a van.

Blaylock is the father of University of Kentucky football players Daron and Zack Blaylock.
