Multi-lingual skills can beef up any résumé and can set you apart from other applicants, but today a language speaking strongly to employers is computer code.

Awesome Inc. later this month is hosting a crash course in code: iOS elements and Python.

A crash course for the Unity gaming framework was held this week. Full courses for Unity and iPhone are planned for later in the summer.

Brian Raney, co-founder of Awesome Inc. and APAX Software, said the motive behind these courses is as simple as providing students, or anyone interested, with the right skills for the right job.

"I run a software company in addition to Awesome Inc., and one of the problems I notice is finding good software talent," Raney said.

Worse than not having the right software talent for the jobs, Raney said, graduates are having trouble finding jobs altogether.

These languages cover a spectrum of technological abilities from designing video games to web pages to iPhone apps.

"These courses are hopefully going to give them the skills they need to get jobs in this industry," Raney said.

iOS is Apple's mobile operating system and part of the reason apps react when the products are touched, pinched or shaken. Originally made for the iPhone, this system has expanded to work for almost all Apple products.

Python is used mainly for web development.

Unity is a game engine developed by Unity Technologies. Used by over 1 million developers, Unity has powerful rendering abilities and allows users to create interactive 3D content, according to Unity3d.com.

Inspiration for Awesome Inc.'s crash course came from the Dev computer programming bootcamp in Chicago and San Francisco.
