A Frankfort man died Thursday in a two-vehicle crash on westbound Interstate 64 in Shelby County, according to Kentucky State Police.

Charles E. Moore, 38, of Frankfort was traveling west on I-64 when his vehicle hit the rear of a large recycling truck. The recycling truck was slowing down in traffic when the collision occurred near the 35-mile marker, a state police news release said.

Moore was not wearing a seat belt, police said. The operator of the recycling truck, William Gram of Indiana, was not injured.
