Three-star prospect Tyre Brady tweeted Friday that he has committed to Kentucky, becoming the second wide receiver from the class of 2014 to join up with the Wildcats.

Brady — a 6-foot-3, 180-pound native of Homestead, Fla. — also had reported offers from Florida State, Miami, Florida and Mississippi State, among others.

"I cried tears of joy today after telling my mom I committed to the University of Kentucky. #ProudCommit #BBN #StoopsTroops," Brady tweeted.

He joins four-star recruit Thaddeus Snodgrass as the first two wide receivers in UK's class of 2014. The Cats will have four incoming receivers on scholarship this fall to go with just four scholarship players returning from last season's receiving corps.

Brady, who visited UK's campus Friday, is also rated as a three-star prospect by Scout.com, which considers him the No. 57 overall receiver in the class.

He is UK's 17th commitment for 2014. With the addition of Brady, the Cats moved to No. 2 overall in the Rivals.com team recruiting rankings behind fellow Southeastern Conference program Texas A&M.
