Lexington police arrested 41-year-old Frederick Ray Miller of Lexington on Tuesday in connection with two Chase Bank robberies.

The first was Sept. 15, 2011, and the second was Thursday. Both occurred at the Chase Bank on Leestown Road.

Miller was charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and was taken to the Fayette County jail.

In the most recent robbery, the robber carried a black revolver, demanded money and left after employees complied, police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts said at the time.

In the 2011 robbery, the man came in with a knife and implied that he had another weapon.
