Christian County man faces child porn distribution, possession charges

A Christian County man who was arrested this week on child pornography charges is to be arraigned next week.

Robert G. Walker, 43, was targeted in an undercover cybercrimes unit investigation, according to Attorney General Jack Conway's office.

Walker was indicted Wednesday by a Christian County grand jury on eight counts of distributing child porn and four counts of possessing child porn, according to a news release from Conway's office. Walker was arrested shortly after his indictment.

The cybercrimes unit began its investigation on Aug. 16, 2012. A search warrant was executed at Walker's Hopkinsville home on Jan. 11. Walker is to be arraigned Wednesday in Christian Circuit Court.
