Former University of Kentucky basketball standout Patrick Patterson will be back in Lexington next week to host a basketball camp for particpants aged 7 to 17.

Patterson, a forward for the NBA's Sacramento Kings, will host PPatt's Academy on July 1-3 at Lexington Christian Academy, 450 West Reynolds Road.

Cost is $175, with sessions running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The camp offers individual/group training and team training in shot mechanics, ball handling, offensive footwork, defensive movement and positioning, offensive movement and post player footwork and movement.

Patterson, who played for the Wildcats from 2007-2010, amassed 1,564 points in three seasons, placing him 13th on UK's all-time scoring list.

In three NBA seasons with the Houston Rockets and Sacramento Kings, Patterson is averaging 8.3 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
