Woodford County: Party to benefit humane society 6-8 p.m. Thursday

Artist Priscilla Roberts Fallon has donated this year's signature artwork, An Evening with Friends, for the Woodford Humane Society's 14th Annual Freedom Fest celebration. The artwork will be shown at a sneak preview party Thursday.

A preview party for the Scenes of Darley, pet cetera art auction to benefit the Woodford Humane Society will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Headley-Whitney Museum, 4435 Old Frankfort Pike.

Guests can view and bid on original works from more than 40 artists and photographers. Artist Priscilla Roberts Fallon has donated this year's Signature Artwork An Evening with Friends that will be auctioned at the event.

The preview party is free. Hors d'oeuvres will be catered by South Van Events and Sweet Lilu's Bakery. A wine tasting (for those 21 years and older) will be provided by Horseshoe Bend Vineyard & Winery.

Bidding on the artwork begins at the preview party and continues through July 27 at the Woodford County Humane Society's 14th Annual Freedom Fest event hosted by Darley at its stallion complex at Gainsborough Farm in Versailles.

The exhibit will remain on display at Headley-Whitney Museum until July 22.
