The body of a former employee of the Kentucky Environmental Protection Cabinet was found Sunday morning at the edge of a street in a Frankfort residential neighborhood, Franklin County Coroner Will Harrod said Wednesday.

Harrod identified the man found at 6:30 a.m. Sunday as Anthony Tolliver, 42. Tolliver's body was found on Harrodswood Road, a few blocks from his home, Harrod said. He said the cause of death was unknown, but an autopsy has been performed and results are pending. Frankfort Police Major Fred Deaton said there were no obvious signs of trauma.

Foul play is not suspected, Harrod said. Deaton said the death investigation will continue pending autopsy results.

Tolliver was a former internal policy analyst in the Division of Water from May 2005 to June 2010, Cabinet spokesman Dick Brown said.

Visitation for Tolliver is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home in Frankfort. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Frankfort.
