State police are investigating a motorcycle crash that killed a Bath County man on Saturday.

According to the Kentucky State Police post in Morehead, Jonathan E. Elam, 36, of Olympia was killed when his motorcycle ran off U.S. 60 in Rowan County about 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Troopers said Elam was traveling east on U.S. 60 near Acorn Industry Road when he apparently lost control of his 2004 Harley-Davidson, which crossed the center line and struck a guardrail.
