The Xerox call center in Lexington is adding more than 100 positions beginning this month.
Xerox said in a news release Monday that it was hiring full-time customer care employees to support Kentucky's Health Benefit Exchange, which is part of the Affordable Care Act.
Xerox customer care agents will offer assistance by phone, chat and email to Kentuckians navigating the online application process for obtaining health insurance through the exchange.
Agents also will help people who don't have Internet access to complete and file applications.
Hiring will continue through Aug. 30, according to the company. Xerox is seeking candidates with six months of customer center experience or equivalent customer service experience.
Applicants may apply the following ways:
■ By phone at (859) 389-4608. Contact: Jackie Oldham.
■ In person at Xerox, 2432 Fortune Drive, Lexington. Job fair hours: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, noon to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.
■ Go to Xerox.com/ careers and click on "Search for jobs related to business process and IT services." The job number is 13015826.

Xerox, with 3,000 employees in the Lexington region, is considered the area's fifth-largest employer, behind the University of Kentucky, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky, Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government and Fayette County Public Schools.
The company employs about 5,000 people in Kentucky.
The company said the jobs would be permanent full-time jobs "that pay well above minimum wage" with an opportunity to increase that wage after the initial training period. Benefits include paid training, paid time off, health insurance, 401(k) accounts and the opportunity to buy additional optional benefits.
Xerox added 250 jobs earlier this year to work with five clients that are expanding operations in Lexington; those clients were not identified.
In Kentucky, Xerox operates branches in London, Erlanger, Madison County, Beattyville and Monticello. Those offices were formerly operated by ACS, which was acquired by Xerox in 2009; ACS took the Xerox name last year.
