Fayette County father charged with abuse after 4-month-old suffers brain, rib injuries

A Lexington man has been arrested and charged with criminal abuse after allegedly causing serious injury to his 4-month-old daughter.

Brandon Davidson Dow, 23, was charged with criminal abuse after his daughter suffered bleeding on the brain, hemorrhaging of the eyes, and rib fractures while in his care, according to court documents.

The 4-month-old was treated at the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, according to the documents.

The abuse allegedly occurred on July 5, and Dow was arrested Wednesday, according to the documents.

Dow has been denied bail due to a potential of harm to others, according to the documents.
