Lexington soccer team captures 3v3 title Four members of the Lexington Futbol Club's 00 Boys White team captured the gold medal at the regional 3v3 Live Soccer Tour event July 8 at the Elizabethtown Sports Complex. The boys team, named The Illuminati, took only one loss as they finished their group as the No. 1 seed and went on to defeat three Louisville teams in a row to win the event in the 99-00 Boys Gold division. From the left, are Coach Wilder Treadway, Ethan MacGillivray, Holden Treadway, Bradley Hargis and Brandon Carney. 3v3 soccer is played on a smaller field with smaller goals, no goal keeper and is a fast-paced game that features high scores and technical play.
