UK women's Linnae Harper helps U.S. U19s to 5-0

University of Kentucky signee Linnae Harper had 10 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals Tuesday as the United States rolled past Canada 88-54 in the second round of the U19 World Basketball Championships in Lithuania.

The U.S. (5-0) is assured a spot in Friday's quarterfinals but first has to play its final second-round game Wednesday against France.

Harper, who played 17 minutes Tuesday, was one of five U.S. players to score in double figures.

The Chicago native made five of nine attempts from the field and missed her only three-point attempt.

Alexis Jones led the U.S. with 17 points. Breanna Stewart had 14. Morgan Tuck scored 13 points, and Bashaara Graves and Harper added 10 each.
