Clark County: Car and truck show 2-7 p.m. Saturday in downtown Winchester

The seventh annual Car and Truck Show, presented by Shackelford Lodge No. 66 and Golden Link Temple No. 123 of IBPOEW Elks of the World, will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday on Main Street in Winchester.

Dash plates will be given to the first 50 registered vehicles, and trophies will be awarded to the top 25, including the following categories: best GM, best Ford, best Mopar, best truck, best dressed motorcycle, best stock motorcycle, best speciality bike and best rat rod.

Alzheimer's workshop set for July 31

Know the 10 Signs: Early Detection Matters, a workshop designed to explain the early warning signs of Alzheimer's disease, will be from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. July 31 at Generations Center, 32 Meadow Lane, Winchester.
