The Fayette County coroner's office is waiting for the results of an autopsy to determine the cause of death of a 34-year-old Nicholasville man found dead in his car at a Lexington shopping plaza.

Police were called to Eastland Shopping Center off of Winchester Road about 3:30 p.m. Saturday after a security officer found Roby Kirk Leach II. It appeared that Leach, who was in the driver's seat, had been dead several days. Lexington police said Sunday they think Leach died of natural causes.

A release from the coroner's office said an autopsy was scheduled Sunday. The cause of death will not be released until after the autopsy and toxicology tests are completed. The Fayette County coroner's office declined to comment further Sunday.
