Keeneland is always busy, even when the horses aren't racing

The months between the April and October meets at Keeneland Race Course might seem to drag for racing fans, but just because there are no races doesn't mean Keeneland stops, too.

Between construction and upkeep of the grounds, Keeneland plays host to a number of events, including car shows, fund raisers and weddings.

But even so, Keeneland never stops being a racetrack. Horses are stabled year-round and exercised every morning.

For those who can't go the six months without Thoroughbred horse racing in Lexington, Keeneland has simulcast racing and betting Wednesdays through Sundays.
