Legends sweep Tourists, stay in first

The Lexington Legends survived two wild pitches and a 31-minute rain delay in the ninth inning, and completed a three-game sweep of the Asheville Tourists with a 6-5 win on Wednesday afternoon at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. They maintain a half-game lead in the South Atlantic League Southern Division over Augusta, which defeated Rome 7-6.
