UK sports pegged for national exposure

The Southeastern Conference announced the Kentucky volleyball team's game at Georgia on Oct. 23 will air on ESPNU at 6 p.m. It is the fifth consecutive season UK will appear on an ESPN prime-time telecast. Additionally, the team's game at Florida on Oct. 11 will be broadcast by SportsSouth at 6:30 p.m.

The UK women's soccer team also was selected for three national TV appearances Wednesday. Comcast Sports Southeast will air the team's Sept. 29 home game against Georgia at 6 p.m. Fox Sports will broadcast Kentucky's road games at Vanderbilt on Oct. 6 at 2 p.m. and at Florida on Oct. 18 at 6:30 p.m.
