Correction: Editorial

An editorial Tuesday should have said the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission — and by extension the public — would have a big role in decision-making if proposed natural gas liquids pipelines were instead carrying fuel to heat homes or power electrical utilities. The state Public Service Commission has no jurisdiction over interstate pipelines.
