Bates Security, Lexington Ballet among small business awards winners

Commerce Lexington announced Friday the category winners of its annual Small Business Awards.

The 2013 Small Business of the Year will be named Sept. 20.

Category winners are: Bates Security, Business Success Award; Thai Orchid Cafe, Green Initiative Award; Comfort and Process Solutions Inc., Innovation Award; Hurst Office Suppliers Inc., Legacy Award; Comfort Keepers, Minority Business Award; Central Kentucky Riding for Hope, Nonprofit Award; and Lexington Ballet Co., Phoenix Award.
