Lexington police are seeking information about a shooting early Monday in which a man was injured.

Lt. Mark Brand said the shooting happened at 2:30 a.m. at Riptide on the River, a restaurant, bar and marina on Old Richmond Road. Bystanders reported multiple shots fired, he said, but there was "very little suspect information." The victim was not seriously injured, Brand said, and his name was not released.

Brand said the report indicated there were quite a few people at Riptide at the time of the shooting, and police are hoping someone can provide information that can lead to an arrest. "Somebody saw something," he said. Anyone with information should call (859) 258-3600 and ask for the detective bureau, Brand said.
