Clark County: Symphony Under the Stars is Friday; trolley tours begin Sept. 10

STRIDE, a program supporting adults with disabilities, will have its Symphony Under the Stars at 7:30 p.m. Friday at 5045 Van Meter Road, Winchester. Get closest to the pin for YMCA

A closest to the pin golf ball drop, benefiting the Winchester YMCA, will be Sept. 9 at the Chamber of Commerce's annual golf scramble at Winchester Country Club, 410 Boone Avenue. Each ball costs $10 and sales are limited to 1,000 balls. Cash prizes will be awarded to the closest ball ($1,000), second closest, ($500), and third closest ($250). Trolley tours to historic sites

Bluegrass Heritage Museum's fall trolley tours will be Sept. 10 to Battlefield Park in Richmond, $15; Sept. 17 to Cane Ridge Meeting House in Bourbon County, $25; and to the University of Kentucky's Department of Anthropology, $15. All trolley tours will depart at 5 p.m. from the museum, 217 South Main Street. Reservations are required. Call (859) 745-1358 to register. Visit Bgheritage.com.
