Two men face charges in Tuesday night's fatal shooting at Ridgepoint Run and Spangler Drive in Lexington, police said.

Trustin B. Jones, 20, was charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence in connection with the incident on Wednesday. Robert Guernsey, 33, was charged with complicity to murder. Jones was also arrested on an unrelated robbery warrant, police said. Both men were lodged in the Fayette County jail on Wednesday night.

Derek S. Pelphrey, 23, was found shot in the neck at Ridgepoint Run and Spangler on Tuesday. Police said Pelphrey was shot while sitting in a car. He then got out of the car and collapsed in the intersection.

A passing motorist found Pelphrey just before 9 p.m. and called police, mistakenly thinking he had been hit by a vehicle.
