Former inmate accused of smooching Lexington prison guard

A former inmate at the Federal Medical Center in Lexington interfered with and assaulted a female employee at the prison by kissing her on the cheek, a federal grand jury has charged.

Carl Leslie Buggs was indicted Thursday. He kissed the employee, identified only as M.G. in the indictment, in May, the grand jury charged.

Buggs, 60, faces up to eight years in prison on the charge.
