Richmond man dies in early morning crash in Lexington

A Richmond man was killed early Tuesday in a crash at Old Richmond Road and Jacks Creek Pike.

Martin Rankin, 41, died of multiple blunt-force trauma, according to a Fayette County Coroner's report.

At 1:04 a.m., a vehicle traveling on Old Richmond Road struck a tree, flipped back onto the road and was found overturned in the center of the road. Lexington police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts said.
