Tour some of Lexington's producers, markets and agritourism sites during the Follow the Food Farm Tour from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 21.
Start the day with breakfast at FoodChain, 501 West Sixth Street, with the opportunity to tour Kentucky's first indoor aquaponics farm.
Ten stops are included on this self-guided tour that features urban farms, markets, community gardens and agritourism sites, as well as Lexington's first CRAVE food + music festival.
Families can experience interactive activities and discover the roots of some of the food grown locally. Maps will be available the day of the tour at FoodChain and the other tour stops.
Free parking in the High Street parking lot across from Rupp Arena. COLT Trolley service is available 9 a.m.-noon for downtown destinations.

Agency's clients return with prizes
Images Model and Talent Agency of Lexington recently returned home with more than 50 trophies, awards, honorable mentions and contracts from the International Models and Talent Association convention in NYC.
Top winners include: Landon Woods, age 9, Winchester: winning swimwear, jeans, commercial print, 1st runner-up Fashion Print and Runway, 2nd runner-up Pre-teen Male Model of the Year, 3rd runner-up Most-Sought-After Male Talent of the Year; Kelsie Steber, age 13, Danville: 1st runner-up Theatrical Headshot, 2nd runner-up Pre-teen Female Model of the Year, Fashion Print and Jeans; Kamri Baker, age 18, Lexington: 1st runner-up Singing and On-Camera Host, 4th runner-up Junior Female Actress of the Year; Sara Bakay, age 24, Martin: 1st runner-up Cold Read, 3rd runner-up Female Actress of the Year, and winner of a $10,000 Scholarship to N.Y. Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts; Oakes McCauley, age 4, Nicholasville: finalist for Child Model of the Year, 2nd runner-up Theatrical Headshots, four honorable mentions for monologue, screen test, runway and swimwear. The Images team was named the winner of the Team Dance Competition. The dance was choreographed by Heath Green of Images. The Images team was under the direction of Janie Olmstead, owner.
Early-stage Alzheimer's support group
A support group for those in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease or related dementia will be 10:30 a.m.-noon Wednesdays from Sept. 25-Nov. 13 at the Alzheimer's Association, 465 East High Street, Suite 200.
The eight-week program will provide information, support, and encouragement to those in the early stages of Alzheimer's or a related dementia and their caregivers.
The support group will provide an opportunity to discuss issues and changes related to memory loss and a gathering to share experiences and feelings.
