Fall Festival Guide 2013: Something for every taste

hhendren@herald-leader.comSeptember 12, 2013

Anderson County has some burgoo it would like you try. Berea is serving up some spoonbread, and in Morgan County, sweet sorghum is on the menu for this year's fall festivals.

Of course, food isn't the only treat offered to visitors in communities throughout Kentucky. Paris invites visitors to celebrate Secretariat, the Triple Crown-winning Thoroughbred. In Maysville, festivities salute pioneer Simon Kenton, who helped settle the state.

So take to the road this fall for a taste of what makes Kentucky so special. To get you started, here's our annual Fall Festival Guide, a list of festivals from Hazard to Bowling Green.
