A Fayette County Detention Center inmate was being sought Tuesday after she failed to return to the jail Monday on a court-ordered pass, spokeswoman Jennifer Taylor said.

Ashley Page Marler, 31, was released on a medical pass at 11:48 a.m. Monday and failed to return from her appointment.

She had been charged with two counts of receiving stolen property and nonpayment of fines. She is described as 5-foot-4 and 120 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. An arrest warrant for second-degree escape has been issued.
