Police catch inmate who didn't return to Fayette jail after medical pass

Lexington police arrested a Fayette County jail inmate who had failed to return from a court-ordered pass, according to a news release.

Ashley P. Marler, who failed to return from a court-approved medical pass Monday, was arrested Tuesday.

Marler was being held Wednesday at the jail on charges of second-degree escape and her original charges of two counts of receiving stolen property.
