Arrangements set for former Blue Grass Airport director Mike Gobb

Former Blue Grass Airport Executive Director Michael A. Gobb will be remembered by his family and friends through a visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Aviation Museum of Kentucky, 4029 Airport Road in Lexington.

A celebration of Gobb's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 28 at First United Methodist Church, 4131 Old Todds Road in Lexington.

Memorial contributions in Gobb's name should be sent to Kentucky United Methodist Home for Children and Youth in Versailles and the Hope Center in Lexington.

"Our prayers are with his family and friends at this time of great loss," said Alan Stein, CEO and president of SteinGroup LLC, in a news release. Gobb worked for Stein's consulting firm. "We will miss our good friend and valued colleague for his professionalism and his ever present smile."
